With the same great taste and exponentially more aesthetic appeal, Golden Variegated thyme mild lemony, herbal flavor perfect for seasoning or teas with yellow-margined leaves. Lavender purple flowers in the summertime are also highly attractive to a number of pollinators and can be used in similar ways to the leaves. Commonly used in a variety of culinary ways for its minty, herbal flavor profile, thyme is most popular in soups, roasted vegetables, and in compound herb butters.
Mature plants typically reach a height of around 6-12" and do best when planted about 6-8" from one another. Golden Variegated thyme is perennial, and will last through hot, dry summers, and cold winter climates, though they may benefit from mulching in the late fall.
Plants are available in 4" containers beginning the week of 3/24.
