Meet the owner

Michael Edward Jensen is the president of Unity Landscape Design/Build, Inc. He started Unity Landscape Design/Build in 1992 after studying Landscape Architecture at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Upon completion at Temple University his love of the Chesapeake Bay drew him back to the Eastern Shore in 1992.

His interest in the Landscape Design/Build profession began while attending College at West Chester University for Architecture/Urban Planning. At this time he was inspired to look at the connection between Architecture and the surrounding environment. He became aware of the excellent Landscape Architecture/Horticulture program offered at Temple University where he began attending the following Semester.

After Forming Unity Landscape Design Build in 1992 Unity began providing landscape design and construction services to property owners faced with the challenge of finding balance between their desires and the restrictions and regulations imposed to protect the Bay water quality. Unity has become well experienced and educated to the many issues and policies that affect property owners in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. It is this knowledge and expertise that allows Unity to offer their clients the ability to handle their project from beginning to completion.
