Rudbeckia fulgida 'Viette's Little Suzy' (Black-Eyed Susan) is a more compact cultivar of black-eyed Susan, notable for its petite size (growing only 12-18" tall) and its compact, clump-forming growth behavior. Like other black-eyed Susans, 'Viette's Little Suzy' is also capable of spreading via rhizome, but looks great when grown in large patches.
In addition to its compact size, 'Viette's Little Suzy' also has improved disease resistance from some of its predecessors and prefers wetter soil conditions than some cultivars of black-eyed Susan.
