Julep mint, not to be confused with the typical mint used for making mint juleps (Kentucky Colonel Spearmint), is a unique perennial spearmint variety noted for its small aromatic leaves that smell similar to a mint julep, minty with a splash of woody spice.
This mint is perfect for use in teas, cookies, and other culinary uses and white flowers through the spring, summer, and fall are attractive to a variety of pollinators.
Mature plants reach a height of 1-2', and as mint relatives, may spread rapidly so it may be best to grow these fragrant herbs in a container rather than a bed.
Plants are available in 4" pots beginning the week of 3/25.
