A more compact variety of the Joe Pye Weed species reaching a height of 5-6'. An erect, handsome statue like perennial that boasts with dusty pink flowers that blooms profusely from mid-summer through fall and attracts a multitude of butterfly's and various pollinators.
A great choice for meadows, rain gardens, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. Prefers full to part sun and average, medium to wet well drained soils. Combines well with tall native grasses as well as perennials such as Rudbeckia fulgida, Heliopsis helianthoides, Solidago odora, and Vernonia noveboracensis.
