A popular cultivar among Epimedium's. 'Sulpureum' is a low growing semi-evergreen shade loving perennial with heart shaped, pointed leaves that emerge red-flushed in the spring and mature to a pale green in the summer and then a reddish color in the fall. Mid spring, primrose shades of yellow flowers emerge that are 1" on wiry stems withe creamy sepals.
