Giant of Italy, also called Gigante d'Italia, is an Italian flat-leaf parsley variety noted for its large, easy to harvest leaves, low-growing but vigorous habit, and rich, sweet flavor. Commonly used in soup stocks, sauces, dressings, and pestos, Italian flat-leaf parsley is a versatile herb that can be used in a variety of cooking styles, not just Italian!

Mature plants reach a height of approximately 12-20", and have very little spread, so multiple plants can share one container or bed. Parsley is a biennial plant, growing leaves in its first season and producing flowers and seeds (typically not used) in its second, so it is treated as an annual by many growers.
