'Baby Joe' is a more compact Joe Pye weed variety that grows 2-3' tall and limits its spread. A wet-loving native perennial Eastern North America. Upright growth habit with purple-spotted, unbranched stems with large dome-shaped clusters of small, pale lavender flowers beginning in mid-summer to early fall. Very adaptable to a variety of soil types, deer resistant, pollinator friendly, and full sun to part-shade tolerant.
