Chrysogonum virginianum is a low-growing woodland groundcover plant also called "green and gold," for its striking colors.

Chrysogonum virginianum produces 6-8” tall dark green foliage and plentiful golden yellow flowers in the spring, and sporadically through the warm season afterward. Due to its spreading nature and its long-lived semi-evergreen foliage, this plant is a great choice for weed-blocking groundcover, and has the added benefit of being tolerant to deer damage and foot traffic.

These plants were grown from the ground up here at Unity Church Hill Nursery.
