Chrysogonum virginianum 'Allen Bush' is a cultivar of goldenstar, a low-growing woodland groundcover plant native to much of the eastern United States. Also called "green and gold," for its striking early spring colors, Chrysogonum virginianum is semi-evergreen to evergreen through mild winters. The 'Allen Bush' cultivar is noted for its compact growth habit, growing to a mature height of 6-12" tall and wide, as well as its extended bloom window, which only adds to its ornamental value, creating a lovely groundcover effect through every season.

Chrysogonum virginianum ‘Allen Bush’ prefers moist, well-draining soil and partial to full shade, though it can also tolerate full sun when provided with enough moisture.
