Physocarpus opulifolius 'Ginger Wine' is a striking native perennial shrub which produces bronze-orange foliage in the spring that matures to deep, glossy burgundy in the summer and fall. Growing to five to six feet tall, 'Ginger Wine' produces small clusters of white spirea-like flowers from the late spring into early summer, which eventually turn to striking red seed heads as autumn progresses.

In addition to its eye-catching nature in its spring, summer, and fall foliage this ninebark cultivar provides interest through the entire year with its beautiful peeling bark, and requires very little maintenance from start to finish.
