Itea virginica Fountains Of Rouge™ is a popular sweetspire cultivar, noted for its especially long bottle brush-type flowers, and well regarded for its profuse flowering and intense fall colors. Although Fountains Of Rouge™ is an excellent lime to emerald green color in the spring and summer, cooler temperatures induce an excellent color change to brilliant rouge shades of purple and red.

Growing to three to four feet tall with an arching spread of four to five feet, Fountains Of Rouge™ is also well regarded for its fragrant and showy bottle brush flowers, which drape delicately from the shrub's many stems.
