The result of a selective breeding program in Somerset, England, Geranium 'Rozanne' (also occasionally called Geranium 'Jolly Bee') is now one of the most popular geranium cultivars available in the US. First patented in 2001, 'Rozanne' was noted for its squat, bushy growth habit, vigorous flower production, and its exceptionally long-lasting blooms, which begin in mid to late spring and can continue through the middle of summer. Low-growing to only 12-18" tall, but capable of spreading to form dense mats up to 2' wide, 'Rozanne' 5-petaled blooms are also so vibrant they have to be seen to be believed.

Highly valued for its ornamental value, Geranium 'Rozanne' is also well-regarded for its resistance to deer and rabbit damage, and its tolerance of dry soils and partial shade conditions. Growing well in both full sun and part shade, Geranium 'Rozanne' is an excellent showy groundcover selection, with the added benefits of versatility, reliability, and low-maintenance growth.
