Tomato Roma Unity Grown

One of the most popular plum/paste tomatoes, even by name alone, the Roma heirloom tomato is synonymous with canned tomatoes and delicious sauces. Tomatoes are relatively small, typically 2-3oz, but easily peeled and cooked down, and packed with classic saucy tomato flavor. Roma produces a dense, moderate set of attractive fruits that tend to fall off the vine when sufficiently ripened.

Typically described as bushy tomato, Roma plants grow to approximately 3-5' tall and may require staking. This Roma variety is a determinate tomato, and will grow for only part of a season before flowering, setting fruit, and dying back, so be sure to plan carefully for however many tomatoes you want!

Plants are available in 4" containers beginning the week of 4/21.
