Tarragon French Unity Grown

French tarragon is a popular perennial garden herb, characterized by its plain, grass-like foliage and strong herbal aroma. Since some varieties of Tarragon are difficult to get to the stage of flower and seed production, most French tarragon is grown from root cuttings, and these hardy roots will typically survive through the winter.

Commonly used in a variety of culinary ways for its savory and herbal flavor, most commonly with chicken or fish, and in a wide range of French dishes. Mature plants typically reach a size of 18-24" tall, though the plant's width relies more on the structure of the root system than the upright foliage.
