Salvia nemorosa 'Snow Hill' is a European hybrid cultivar of meadow sage, noted for its pure white flowers and excellent hardiness. Growing to 18-24" in its natural habitat, 'Snow Hill' is an excellent choice for pollinator and wildflower plantings, meadows, small garden spaces, and anywhere with well-drained soils and lots of sun. Naturally hardy to Zone 4 thanks to its European heritage, 'Snow Hill' tolerates drought and heat, cold, and some shade, as well as deer and rabbit damage, thanks to its fragrant foliage.

From late spring to early summer, 'Snow Hill' produces a profusion of white flowers on narrow spikes, which are attractive to a wide range of pollinators. Although dead-heading can encourage an extended bloom window, this is not guaranteed, as 'Snow Hill' is relatively limited in its capacity to rebloom through the summer. This cultivar of meadow sage performs best in medium consistency soils, so it may be a good idea to avoid, or at least amend, heavy clay soils for planting.
