The Luminary® series from Proven Winners are a series of Phlox paniculata cultivars chosen for their upright, bushy nature, disease resistance, flower cluster density, and bright-green,  even foliage. The 'Ultraviolet' cultivar is so named for its bright, vivid magenta blossoms.

Phlox paniculata Luminary® 'Ultraviolet' typically grows to 32-36" tall and a single plant is capable of spreading out to 28-32" from the base. These phlox are hardy, but do best when provided with fertilizer regularly, and the fragrant purple flowers that bloom from mid to late summer are a favorite of pollinators and a great choice for cut flower arrangements.
