Ranging from mild to hot, blocky in appearance, and noted for their striking dark red color, Ausilio Thin Skin peppers are an Italian heirloom variety originating from one family of Italian immigrants from the early 1900s. Thin-skinned and perfect for frying or stuffing, these peppers are delicious and were selected as a Seed Savers staff favorite.
Expect most Ausilio peppers in the range of 4-5" long and 2-.5" wide; individual plants grow upright to a manageable size of 18-24" tall and wide.
