Well known the world over for its long-lasting, wonderful floral scent, Lavandula x intermedia 'Provence,' also called French lavender, is a compact variety of lavender perfect for dried flowers, sachets, and other herbal uses. Lavender is also a very popular flower for a number of pollinators, drawing in a wide variety of bees, moths, and butterflies.
'Provence' lavender grows to 24-36" tall and begins blooming in mid-summer, producing bright purple, incredibly fragrant flowers that can be picked anytime after they begin blooming, and can be dried or used in flower arrangements. Lavender typically requires very little water, and will thrive anywhere with sun and average soil kept on the drier side.
Lavender plants will be available in 4" containers beginning the week of 3/24.
