An improved, more refined 'Limelight' cultivar of panicle Hydrangea with darker, healthier looking foliage, stronger stems, and a more compact growth habit. Growing to only four to six feet tall, Limelight Prime® produces blooms that emerge a vivid lime green in mid-summer and maintain that color for a few weeks before transitioning to bubblegum pink and white; blooms eventually finish a rich, rose pink.
Best served by medium, well-draining soil and full to part-sun, Limelight Prime® is a great choice for flowering hedge or small specimen tree, but also works great in containers. This panicle hydrangea is best pruned in late winter or early spring to encourage new growth and profuse flowering.
