Heuchera villosa 'Citronelle' is a sport coral bell cultivar noted for its eye-catching chartreuse foliage; originating from the 'Caramel' cultivar, 'Citronelle' is the result of a random genetic mutation resulting in brighter lime-green to chartreuse foliage with all of the other features that a native coral bell is regarded for. Shade-loving, low maintenance, and producing beautiful spikes of bell-shaped flowers from early spring well into the fall, 'Citronelle' is a great low-growing addition to any shaded area, and works excellently as an underplanting.

Heuchera typically grow to under 12" tall, with flower spikes rising slightly above this height, and are commonly ignored by browsing deer. Blooms are attractive to butterflies, and the natural mounding behavior of 'Citronelle' means they will grow happily in groups or when planted next to other shade-loving perennials.
