'Flaviramea' is a bright yellow cultivar among C. sericea to add some brightness to your winter landscape. An adaptable, multi-stemmed, suckering, deciduous shrub of with much ornamental value for a winter landscape. Fast growing, very adaptable to moist soils, even wet soils, and deer resistant.  Come spring, 'Flaviramea' foliage emerges of dark green that contrasts with greenish-yellow stems. Small clusters of tiny creamy flowers that attract butterflies emerges in late spring. The next show begins in the fall when the leaves turn into warm shades of red, orange, and burgundy.

Ideal choice for shrub borders along ponds and streams, naturalistic landscapes, and rain gardens. Be sure to remove old growth on a regular basis to maintain the strong yellow stem color.
