Early Jersey Wakefield is an attractive and delicious early green cabbage cultivar, producing heads up to three pounds in a compact habit, perfect for closer spacing.
Like many cabbages, Early Jersey Wakefield performs best in cooler spring weather, but plants can tolerate warmer summer conditions. Cabbages grow wider than they do tall, best planted 18-24" apart.
Available as CP72 plugs, rooted soil blocks 1.5" x 1.5" x 2.25" deep, beginning the week of 3/17.
