Inspired by luscious colors and tastes, Baptisia x Decadence® 'Vanilla Cream' is a hybrid false indigo cultivar developed by Proven Winners. 'Vanilla Cream' is named for the plant's cream white flowers which bloom from late spring into early summer, attracting butterflies and a variety of other pollinators.

Foliage emerges with a bronze-orange tint in the spring, contrasting with the typical spring greens of other common landscape plants, and develops to gray green as the plant matures. Full size specimens can grow to between two and three feet tall and wide, and the 'Vanilla Cream' colored flower spikes can make up a full third of the plant's height before they turn to seed heads in late summer, which add fall interest and value to birds. an upright, tightly mounded growth habit makes this false indigo cultivar an excellent choice for beds and other small spaces.
