Itea virginica Fizzy Mizzy® is a new cultivar of sweetspire, a compact shrub with bottle brush-type flowers, produced by Proven Winners and noted for its tight, compact size and more upright blooms. Fizzy Mizzy® sweetspire's highly fragrant creamy white bottle brush blooms and dwarf size allow it to placed anywhere within the garden while also attracting a number of pollinators, including butterflies and hummingbirds.

Fizzy Mizzy® thrives at any light level, making it an appropriate plant for full-sun pollinator gardens, part-sun foundation plantings, and full-shade woodland or under-plantings. This cultivar additionally tolerates a wide variety of soil conditions, as long as the soil is kept moist and well-draining, deer browsing, and boggy conditions.
