Gaillardia aristata 'Arizona Apricot' is an award-winning cultivar of blanketflower, a bushy, low-growing perennial with large, attractive flowers in tones of apricot orange and sunny yellow as the petals extend from the central cone. Growing to only 10-12" tall and wide, 'Arizona Apricot' blooms from early summer to fall and attracts a huge variety of butterflies and bees with its deep pockets of nectar.

Highly rated for its long season garden performance and profuse blooms, Gaillardia aristata 'Arizona Apricot' works wonderfully in beds or containers, low borders or on its own in pollinator gardens, and is hardy enough to go almost anywhere too. 'Arizona Apricot' prefers medium to dry soils and full sun exposure, but tolerates deer and rabbit browsing, drought, heat, and salt content, making it an especially attractive choice for planting in coastal areas or areas with a lot of roaming deer.
