'Golden Jubilee' is a golden-leaved cultivar of Agastache rugosa, also known as giant hyssop, an easy to grow, upright perennial herb originally native to East Asia. Attractive, lavender-blue flowers bloom from mid-summer to early fall in large spikes atop the golden, anise-scented foliage, adding late season color to the garden.

Agastache rugosa typically grows to between two and three feet tall, and adds a welcome splash of lighter color to any border, herb, or pollinator garden with flowers that attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and other pollinators including bumblebees. 'Golden Jubilee' thrives in a wide variety of soil types and moisture conditions, and as an added benefit, is tolerant of drought as well as rabbit and deer damage. Although Agastache rugosa is not originally native to the United States, and may grow somewhat vigorously as a mint relative, giant hyssop is not considered an invasive species, though it may eventually hybridize with native Agastache species.
