Zucchini Dark Green Unity Grown

A beautiful, high-yield, dark green zucchini, the 'Dunja' zucchini variety is covered in glossy, dark green skin full of important antioxidants, protecting a firm, nutty flesh. Zucchini is an excellent summer vegetable and is commonly grilled, sauteed, and is one of the main stars in the attractive French dish ratatouille. 

The recommended spacing is 18-24" apart in rows set 5-6' away from other plants; plants are moderately tight and have moderate spines, so having more space for them to spread is appropriate. Plants are considered to have "concentrated" fruit set, which means high yield but only over a very short window of time, so multiple plants may be required for a good harvest. 'Dunja' zucchinis are best harvested when around 6-8" long.
