Tuscan Blue rosemary, Rosemarinus officinalis, is a large, ornamental rosemary variety with glossy, needle-like leaves and profuse blue-violet flowers in spring. Rosemary is an excellent perennial herb, resistant to deer and rabbit grazing as well as drought, but also highly attractive to a number of pollinators
Commonly used in chicken or potato-based dishes, as well as in soups and even cocktails, rosemary is a versatile herb with a lot of herbal, piney aroma and flavor.
Mature plants kept over several seasons will require a decent bit of space, with older Tuscan Blue rosemary bushes reaching sizes of up to 6' tall and 2-4' wide.
Plants are available in 4" pots beginning the week of 3/25.
