Islander bell peppers, noted for their lavender to purple skin and pale yellow flesh, are a delicious bell pepper with a mild, semi-sweet flavor. Medium-sized fruits are typically three-lobed and somewhat round, starting violet with orange and yellow streaks before maturing to a dark purple-red.
Best grown spaced 18-24" apart, but it's best to lean on the further side of that range, as mature plants can reach up to 3-4' tall.
Plants are available in 4" containers the week of 5/7.
