Commonly regarded as an excellent companion plant and 'trap crop,' Nasturtium has been planted alongside gardens since antiquity, with beautiful blooms attracting pollinators and drawing attention from unwanted insect visitors away from more sensitive crop plants.
These nasturtium plants are a mix of the 'Alaska' variety, noted for their attractive white-splotched variegated foliage and paler than average blooms. Nasturtium plants are fully edible, their flavor being reminiscent of watercress with a peppery bite, and can be planted alongside gardens, in hanging baskets, or in standalone containers to enjoy their beauty.
Mature plants reach a height of 1-2', and these plants should be ready to bloom from late May to mid-June.
