The 'German Butterbean' variety of lima beans are a fast-growing and vigorously climbing lima bean cultivar noted for their large size and distinctive buttery flavor and texture.
Recommended spacing is 36-48" apart, but this can be reduced with a trellis. Pods are medium sized, and beans are creamy white and nickel-sized.
