Little Leaf pickling cucumbers are exactly what they sound like: small 3-5" fruits on compact, multi-branching vines with slightly smaller leaves than other varieties. Fruits are perfect for snacking or pickling, and stocky vines will produce decent yields even under stress. Variety is also known for better than average disease resistance.
Creeping vines will spread, but compact behavior means that Little Leaf can be planted only 18-36" away from other plants. Planting too close together can result in higher risk of disease and pest issues. Vines can be trellised to save even more space.
