Equally loved and hated for its fresh, herbal (or occasionally soapy) flavor and commonly used to flavor sauces, salsas, fish, and a number of Mexican dishes, the 'Cruiser' variety of cilantro is a tasty, upright cultivar that is resistant to early bolting.

Large leaves and sturdy stems make 'Cruiser' cilantro a popular choice for live plants and herb bunches in markets. Grows to a compact height of 6-12" tall, and doesn't mind crowded growing conditions. Regular cutting of sprigs will prolong plant life, but after plants turn to flower, seeds can be collected for use as coriander or left in place to reseed.
