A beautiful cross between tatsoi and komatsuna, chijimisai is an loose-headed Asian cabbage relative with crispy leaves full of umami flavor.
An excellent green for stir-fries, soups, salads, and even pizzas chijimisai thrives in both heat and cold, making it a great choice for early spring gardening, but by spacing out planting times, chijimisai will provide greens all summer long.
Grows to 12-15" tall, best planted 10-12" apart, harvest individual leaves or full heads before plants begin to flower.
Available as CP72 plugs, rooted soil blocks 1.5" x 1.5" x 2.25" deep, beginning the week of 3/17.
