Made of unfinished fired black clay earthenware, this striking garden accessory is inspired by classical Japanese carved stone lanterns, used in Buddhist temples, Shinto shrines, and private estates from around 700 AD on. This Black Clay Lantern will make an excellent addition to an existing Japanese-style garden, but works beautiful as a standalone piece as well, especially when paired with a lit candle on a warm summer night.

Please Note: The Black Clay Lantern is a garden accessory made entirely from fired natural black clay, and will require at least two people to load and unload to/from a vehicle for moving. We recommend contacting the nursery for help with delivery and installation if you're not sure you'll be able to handle it solo.
