New for 2025!
Perhaps one of the most unique zucchini cultivars, Zucchino Rampicante summer squash is a whimsical, twisty-turny vining zucchini, noted for their pale green skin and delicious, nutty taste. Zucchino Rampicante can also be grown as a winter squash, with attractive pale brown skin and golden yellow flesh.
Zucchinis in general are best when harvested young, but this variety can be harvested when 8-12" long, much larger than other zucchini and maintaining a better flavor over time. For Zucchino Rampicante, the recommended spacing is 24-30" apart in rows set about 6' away from other plants; plants are rapidly vining and readily capable of sprawling, so trellising may be especially beneficial for this cultivar.
Plants are available in 4" containers beginning the week of 4/28.
