New for 2025!
The Long White of Palermo zucchini, also known as they Zucchino Lungo Bianco, is a unique and attractive Sicilian zucchini variety with cream white to pale green skin and a ton of flavor. The fruits' texture is also softer and more buttery than other zucchini, making it a great variety for sautees or tossing in with pasta.
For Long White zucchinis, the recommended spacing is 24-30" apart in rows set about 6' away from other plants; plants are semi-vining and capable of sprawling, and large leaves may shade out other plants placed too closely; the fruits of this cultivar can also grow larger than other cultivars, with recommended average harvest size being 12-15" long.
Plants are available in 4" containers beginning the week of 4/28.
