Tomato San Marzano Unity Grown

One of the most popular plum/paste tomatoes, even by name alone, the San Marzano heirloom tomato is synonymous with canned tomatoes and delicious sauces. Tomatoes are typically 4-6oz, easily peeled and cooked down, and packed with classic saucy Italian flavor. Fruits are dark red, glossy, and around the size of a large, oblong plum; plants produce a dense, moderate set of attractive fruits.

Typically described as 'vigorous,' San Marzano plants can grow up to 6-8' tall and will require staking due to their large size and moderately heavy fruit set. The San Marzano variety is an indeterminate tomato, and will continuously grow and produce fruit through the late spring and summer as long as it is provided with enough water, nutrients, and support.

Plants are available in 4" containers beginning the week of 4/21.
