New for 2025!
Well regarded as one of the best traditional canning varieties, the Bonnie Best heirloom tomato was first introduced in 1908, and is still beloved for its meaty texture and intense flavor. Tomatoes are excellent for canning, but work great as sandwich slices and for salads too!
Tomato plants can get rather large and this variety is no exception, getting up to anywhere between 3' and 8' tall. Bonnie Best will also probably require staking, since individual fruits can weight 8-10oz and the plant will produce a good number over the summer season. Bonnie Best is an indeterminate tomato variety, and will continuously grow and produce fruit through the late spring and summer as long as it is provided with enough water, nutrients, and support.
Plants are available in 4" containers beginning the week of 4/21.
