Agastache x 'Blue Fortune' is a hybrid cultivar of two Agastache species, Agastache foeniculum, native to the US, and Agastache rugosa, native to east Asia. The hybrid cultivar, 'Blue Fortune,' is named for its long-blooming, fragrant, lavender-blue bottlebrush-type flowers, which bloom from the mid summer into the late fall. 'Blue Fortune' hyssop grows to 2-3' tall and 1-2' wide.

Fast-growing and clump-forming by nature, 'Blue Fortune' blooms are upright, attractive in the garden, and valuable to hummingbirds, butterflies, and other kinds of pollinators, including native bumblebees. Once established, Agastache 'Blue Fortune' is drought tolerant, and resistant to deer and rabbits. With fragrant foliage and a attractive blooms, this plant makes a great addition to pollinator gardens and border plantings, but also thrives in an herb garden setting. The 'Blue Fortune' hybrid cultivar, although not truly native, is considered one of the best selections for combined ornamental and ecological appeal, producing showy flowers with a ton of pollinator value.
