New for 2025!
Early to mature, delicious to eat, and all of the appeal of a beefsteak in a golden yellow shell: this is the appeal of the Azoychka. This Russian golden heirloom tomato was first introduced to the market by Seed Savers Exchange co-founder Kent Whealy in 1995, and is known for its attractive appearance and tart but not fruity flavor, uncommon among golden tomatoes. Fruits are excellent for salads, but work great as sandwich slices and add a lovely pop of color to caprese!
Average in size (only 3-5' tall), but fast to produce and prolific, Azoychka will require staking since individual fruits can weight 6-16oz apiece and the plant will produce up to 30-40 fruits in a single summer season. Azoychka is an indeterminate tomato variety, and will continuously grow and produce fruit through the late spring and summer as long as it is provided with enough water, nutrients, and support.
Plants are available in 4" containers beginning the week of 4/21.
