Sedum ternatum 'Larinem Park' is a West Virginian cultivar of woodland stonecrop noted for its increased moisture and shade tolerance over the straight species without losing its tolerance for dry, rocky soils that make it such an excellent and versatile groundcover. Growing to a very low height of only about six inches, 'Larinem Park' is capable of spreading 12-18" per plant, making it a great pick for full sun or shaded rock gardens, containers, and dry woodland environments.
Already an excellent groundcover choice for its environmental tolerances, as well as its tolerance of deer browsing, 'Larinem Park' also makes a striking ornamental groundcover in beds or rock walls thanks to its small, white, starry flowers, which attract a number of beneficial pollinators. In addition, evergreen, succulent foliage adds interest through the year as well as providing a welcome food source to small mammals.
