Malus domestica 'Pristine' is an apple cultivar noted for its crisp texture and sweet-tart flavor, and an early fruit set in July, several weeks before other cultivars. Growing on dwarf or semi-dwarf rootstock to between 8' and 15' tall, 'Pristine' makes for a great shade or specimen tree that provides yellow fruit in mid summer; no more waiting for fall apple season!
Malus domestica grows best in well-drained moderately fertile, loams, and produces showy white-pink, fragrant flowers in early spring, which attract a variety of pollinators.
Apple trees require cross-pollination to produce fruit, and therefore require at least one pollinating partner for successful fruit harvest; some of these for 'Pristine' include 'Gala' and 'Granny Smith.'
