'Citrine' is a hybrid cultivar of several different Coreopsis species, noted for its long-blooming vibrant yellow flowers and its compact growth behavior. Coreopsis 'Citrine' grows to a height of 5-7" and its striking yellow flowers begin opening in June and don't stop coming until September!

Thoroughly regarded as easy to grow and tolerant of many soil types, provided it's in a well draining full sun location, 'Citrine' makes for a beautiful and long-lasting selection that's also great for cut flowers.

Care should be taken to avoid planting Coreopsis 'Citrine' in low spots or ditches, as it requires well-draining soil and is one of the more sensitive Coreopsis cultivars to harsh winters.
