The perfect large-size cucumber for slicing and salads, Marketmore 76 is a versatile cucumber with thicker skin, which makes them easier to store and resistant to common garden diseases including Cucumber Mosaic Virus, Powdery Mildew, and Scab.
Typically matures for fruit production in about 40-65 days, and while Marketmore 76 can get very large, they can also be kept smaller-sized with more compact planting.
For slicing size cucumbers, the recommended spacing is 12-24" apart in rows set 5-6' away from other plants.
Plants are available in 4" pots the week of 4/29.
