The DeCicco cultivar is an Italian heirloom variety of multi-cut broccoli, also called broccolini.
Typically matures enough for moderate harvest in 45 days, performs best in cooler weather; DeCicco broccolini has a longer harvest period than other sprouting broccoli varieties, and can be harvest multiple times through the season.
Mature plant grows to 24-36" tall, best planted 18-36" apart; individual broccolini heads are smaller than average broccoli and harvested heads may be only 1-4" in diameter.
Available as CP72 plugs, rooted soil blocks 1.5" x 1.5" x 2.25" deep.
Early season plugs available the week of 3/15, late season plugs available the week of 8/5.
